We've seen some things under sinks. But duct tape holding drain pipes together? That's one of those situations where you open the cabinet door and immediately know it needs to go. That's exactly what we walked into on this one.

The before tells the whole story - flexible corrugated hose, black tape wrapped around joints, mismatched fittings crammed into a tight space, and paper towels stuffed in as backup. None of that is a real fix. It's just a slow leak waiting to become a bigger, more expensive problem. Water damage to cabinet floors, mold, or a full drain backup are all on the table when a setup like this is left alone.

We pulled all of it out and did a proper plumbing repair from scratch. Clean PVC drain line, correct P-trap, solid slip-joint fittings - everything sized right and seated properly. No shortcuts. The kind of work that actually holds up.

Here's the thing most homeowners don't realize: a lot of under-sink setups get patched together over the years by previous owners, handymen, or well-meaning DIYers. It's one of those spots that's out of sight and easy to ignore. Until it isn't. If you've ever spotted staining on the cabinet floor or noticed a musty smell when you open that door, it's worth having someone take a look.

Drain cleaning, pipe repair, full replumbing under the sink - we handle all of it. And we'd rather you call us before the tape fails than after.
